Nicholas Ellis graduated from the Royal Academy of Music. In addition, Nick also studied at the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki. He has played with the Seychelles Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony of Malta, New Professionals Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia and more recently the Symphony Orchestra of India. An active chamber musician, Nicholas has performed with the Danish Chamber Players, last year played at London’s Wigmore Hall with international harpist, Emmanuel Ceysson and is a member of a new ensemble led by former Royal Harpist, Catrin Finch. He has held a Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music with his quintet, Camarilla Ensemble.. No stranger to the popular music scene, Nicholas has also performed with with David Axelrod, Vittorio Grigolo, Richard Ashcroft (The Verve) and Sir Elton John.
